At this second, I’m sitting in an abstinence only education class, and it’s absolutely disgusting.

This is so frustrating! If kids are already having sex, making them feel bad only makes them hide questions and concerns - thereby possibly making worse decisions! When kids have stuff happening to their bodies and are having new feelings, it's not like they are going to NOT explore.

And if as a society we're deciding kids shouldn't have accurate info, where exactly are we expecting them to learn the correct info? Their parents? Do the powers that decide abstinence only is the way think everyone is waiting for a religious counseling session right before marriage to get the real details on how sex works? Who on Earth thinks just telling teens to ignore their bodies and hormones and natural, biological urges works when the evidence in front of you says it doesn't?!!? It's so baffling!
