5 Heavy Ships enter the Bay of Bilbao with Asturian flags and emblems. 500 heavily armored and norse looking Arquebusiers unload from one of the ships, with what seems a female Admiral and multiple officers. The clearly Asturian officers request a private meeting between the city mayor and the officers and Admiral of the fleet.
In private the Admiral and Mayor sit at a table. Outside 500 arquebusiers armed to the teeth with both a gun and swords. The mayor is starting to fear his guests. One of the officers speaks up in a strong Asturian accent:
''Now that we have no one who can intervene or overhear our conversation, we can deliver the following demand.''
The Mayor clearly suprised at the involvement of.'... Batavians he said? he remembers when the Batavian ships were harbored right here, in Bilbao months, if not years ago. Asturias is still in state of war with the Batavians. Are these men Batavian?
''Mayor, we have 500 experienced warriors right outside, ordered to fight to their deaths if needs be, we have 5 heavy ships with loaded canons. If we do not bring them the news that you surrender, then we shall burn this city to the ground. Your men won't know what hit them. They think they are Asturian ships, only you know what we are really here for. Just load the money into our ships, and we shall depart. If you decline, or scream for help, then we shall execute you right now. The men outside have their guns loaded and shall start firing upon your guards. The captains of the ships shall hear the gunshots, and will start delivering broadsides to your port and city. Another 15 light ships are nearby to open fire as well.''
/u/brosephstalin45 how do you react? There is no way a army can reach Bilbao in time as all this wont even take a hour to take place. Does the mayor give in to our demands, or will you order the destruction of Bilbao?
