Security cameras for a house on a busy street? What works best?

Security cameras are always a good idea as they serve as a tool to inform you about what's going on around your property and their presence serves as a deterrent to ward off strangers who can easily choose other targets that are more easily compromised. I have two and I'm adding two more. My setup records motion detected video to a computer in house and I've been very happy with this type of setup.

But it's not enough. Let's say you set up a system and you've captured a picture of a theft. There's a lot that has to happen to result in an arrest but it's likely that package is gone but hopefully it was insured. You need a Plan B as well.

Cut a deal with the local UPS store or convenience store or send packages to your job site instead. Find someone who can be that resource. This will give you more choices for that item you've ordered that you really need quickly.

For example, I just learned that Walgreens now supports Fedex. That means I can have an item sent to the Walgreens 1 mile from my house if necessary. You can also get a USPS package sent to a UPS store. Just sharing some examples of potential options to manage this complex issue.
