While this does seem to piggyback onto the unrest in Leicester, the key reason for the protest does seem to be the (postponed) meet with Sadhvi Rithambara at the Durga Bhawan on Spon Lane. The event was originally stated to be postponed because of the Sadhvi’s ill health.

Let’s be fair here - the protestors have every right to engage in peaceful protest here. And none to engage in violent protest.

We can always throw around historical atrocities, but most of us migrated to get away from such historicity, not grow closer to it.
