Seems legit

In most states, anyone with a felony conviction regardless of how long ago they left prison. This includes nonviolent offenses.

Our president and national representatives aren’t elected by popular vote. The president is elected by the electoral college, which votes in accordance to how states vote. For example, if a state has 50 electoral college votes, and the republican wins in that state, then all 50 of those votes are for the republican. But, the number of votes each state contributes is not exactly proportional to population. So Wyoming has more votes per person than California, meaning a Wyoming resident’s vote is more powerful than a California resident’s vote. If you want to know about the equivalent problem for Congress, look up “gerrymandering”.
