It seems that a lot of ill-informed criticisms are made just because of people not being used to games that high quality

I see replayability come from the play styles and exploring the skill trees and seeing alternate outcomes to all of my choices. It really depends on what you are looking for in a game, I highly doubt I’m seeing ‘everything’ in my first play through - a lot of my time comes taking things slow in the meaning that I’m doing always stealth combat (when not required to via a scripted scene etc)

I think the ‘open world’ part and everything everyone is expecting was set for the Stand alone multiplayer.

But I mean, even in its current form - its had a lot more depth than other RPG/open world games in its category, for me and it has a lot of room for growth also, it seems built with continuous expansion in mind. but it also depends what you like - once you’ve played GTA or Red Dead or an Elder Scrolls or Fallout game long enough - the options there run dry too and for many of those, they already fall short of immersion and compelling story (but I mean who honestly buys an ES game for the story? Or bug free experience?) I’m finding a lot more immersion in Cyberpunk than in some of those titles. I’m excited to explore the options with the skill tree’s etc. make different choices in the side/main missions - etc.

There has never been a ‘perfect’ RPG - there are so many takes on the ‘open world’ genre because no one game can do it all. I’m curious to see how they expand this story driven/RPG part and also what is in store for the Multiplayer.

But of course, I didn’t follow the dev. of this game - I remember seeing the original trailer back in the day and being excited but did follow along since then. I prefer to play games I know I want to buy, as blind as possible. Even for titles I know I love, I like to keep a distance until release.

I think the performance on consoles is pretty shameful, but outside of that - this is a triumph of a game.
