Oh cool a woman that can mansplain! Not unheard of, TERFs and SWERFs are definitely a thing. Sorry to go all SJW on you, but I'm literally telling you what me and every other sex worker thinks and want. And your opinion is misinformed and wrong.

It definitely falls under 'mansplaining' when sex workers over and over and over say what we want, and people like you can only say "yeah but what about my opinion?" Have you worked in places where it's legal? Does it create a good environment for sex workers? Some, sure, but it harms a lot of others. Anyone disenfranchised enough to not be able to pass through all the regulations in order to work in a brothel or conform to STD checks will be continuing to work underground. That does NOT benefit the workers. It exasperates the issues they face in a criminalized system.

Not only are you wrong, but it's also infuriating for people who have not (and probably will not) ever worked in sex work (especially as the main source of income, survival work, or for any meaningful length of duration) tell sex workers what will or will not benefit them. Like, um, we know what works and what doesn't? Decriminalization works. Legalization doesn't. I will refer you back to the video I linked in my first comment.
