Sega was "worried" about Total War: Warhammer 3's post-launch sales performance, updates brought "major recovery"

Of all the things about RoC, that were discussed to death (portals, expanding, intercepting, AI cheating, ...), this was actually the thing that bothered me the most.

How could so much work go into a narrative campaign with essentially 80% cookie cutter, duplicated cinematics? This is one of the cheapest, most straightforward aspects of game development, that requires virtually no testing and just straight up modest resource allocation and competence.

At minimum, every faction should have had a unique mid-game cinematic, supplementing Belakor's wonderful bio. Additionally, at least 15 seconds more in the final cinematic for most cinematics. Just, something, to reward replayability outside of the "main" choices.

Why CA cut corners here I will never understand.
