Sekiro is just okay.

The game has a lot of similar tropes to anime. Anime is one of the primary entertainment exports of Japan, just like video games, and I find a lot of Japanese video games share things like dialogue, emotional expression and fantasy lore. Also, this is technically anime. Its a Japanese animated video game.

The word anime is the Japanese term for animation, which means all forms of animated media. Outside Japan, anime refers specifically to animation from Japan or as a Japanese-disseminated animation style) often characterized by colorful graphics, vibrant characters and fantastical themes. This game has a lot in common with anime cartoons, it just happens to be 3D.
