Self defense in UK?

I've never even heard a gun being fired. I've never seen a gun.

I've never had a knife pulled on me personally.

I'm 28.

If you think introducing more weapons, makes people safer on average, you're simply ignoring statistics.

If you think we'd be safer, if the average unstable, overworked, depressed, and self-righteous person could carry an form of weapon, you're simply ignoring humanity.

Are there downsides to carrying weapons being illegal? YES.

Are there downsides to carrying weapons being legal? YES.

Make sure you're thinking about the downsides and upsides of both, and comparing them. Not comparing the downsides of one, to the upsides of the other.
