Is self-preservation at the root of conservatism in the US?

I didn't do any of those things, but because I'm a white male, I'm seen as some kind of evil bigot if I advocate for any position that may benefit me, even if it helps other groups as well.

^ You.

There's that walk-back that always happens when racists get called out on the illogic of their beliefs; "someone else thinks that, I'm just quoting them", another Trump special. Once again, no personal accountability, just intellectually bankrupt.

You've refuted nothing; you couldn't name an American implementation of Voter ID that works or would work, but insist on it anyway because of "feelings". That's nonsensical and baseless, honey; making laws for laws sake.

My ride in life is pretty pleasent considering where I started; what's going to be your excuse when a prospective employer asks about your college degree and credentials and all you have in hand is bitching about foreign workers? Because that's not acceptable.

You need to grow up, take responsibility, and stop preaching rugged individualism to women and actual minorities until you exercise a bit of it yourself. Mmk?
