It's also ignoring all of the people that cannot wear a mask due to pre-existing health conditions. I don't want to get or spread COVID, but at the same time I actually like to be able to breathe without the risk of fainting and knocking myself out by hitting my head on a concrete floor again.

In the UK you do not have to wear a mask if you are exempt for this very reason. I do try to stay indoors as much as possible, but sometimes you have no choice and just have to risk it. I just keep my distance from people as much as possible.

I must admit though, I do love all the dirty looks I get when I have to go out, because some people assume that I'm either ignorant, selfish, or both.
