Why do sellers under-price media?

I like your response here. Let me explain capitalism. Call me names for saying you are are child, I haven’t, I didn’t, but I don’t think you understand it ,(capitalism). There is no “we” who “decides” things. Each of us, independently from all the rest, decide what we are willing to accept. Someone, or more likely an entire, independent, group of people, have decided that they can make a profit on eBay selling whatever book they are selling at whatever price they are selling it for. Are they wrong? I don’t know. Wait a few years and see if the books are selling at a better price. Otherwise, they don’t think they were wrong. There is no “we” to demand higher prices. If you don’t like what Sue Grafton sells on eBay, don’t sell Sue Grafton on eBay”. It’s that simple.

Huge supply, no differentiation. That’s a killer on eBay.
