Selling my 84 Shovelhead. Austin, TX.

Yea, when working for my uncles auto shop he would put cars out for sale on occasion for $2500-$3000 that he would buy for a few hundred bucks 99% of the time he would sell them, He is just patient and "doesn't need the money" he says anything is only worth what people will pay for it. So if you have the patience and don't need the money that day then sure you could totally sell something for more than its worth when the right person comes around. The Dyna thing is because Sons Of Anarchy most likely. Young mid to late 20's knowing nothing about bikes except for they know they need a Dyna, T bars a fairing and a Thunder header. That's what I ride also but Its honestly super practical for west coast riding along with taking trips. But I know the history of them when a lot of these new guys do not. Old bikes aren't practical. I mean I guess you can tune the shit out of them and go over ever nut and bolt but that fucker is going to break down. I couldn't bring myself to pay $10k for something like that. Ill be patient and buy one for a lot cheaper or put $10k into building my own so I don't have to deal with someone else's fuck ups, that way when it does break down I will know how to fix it. I was talking to a young club guy out here in SD last night and we both agreed that when the huge motorcycle fad over the last few years dies out only the real guys will be left, just like its happened time and time again. The hipsters will go away when bikes "aren't the cool thing" anymore and hopefully prices will go down. There are a lot of guys building some great machines that I wouldn't mind paying a little more money for but the market is just over saturated with crap these days. OP I am not saying this about you or any other chopper owners/builders on here. I don't know you and don't know what you are all about but I am sure you know what I mean.
