selling my car

I think if you would've asked 17k 6 months ago, you would've sold it. But the used car market is rapidly going back to pre-covid.

There are no more supply chain constraint. Even freight prices have dropped back to normal. Demand has been crushed because of interest rate.

You are allowed to ask as much as you want for the car, but in the end it comes to how much someone is willing to pay. I have seen a few 2009 with high mileage going for 14k and that is STILL too expensive. Honda has expensive spare parts (fact), thus making the high mileage undesirable to most people on the second hand market.

Even if the car has been well maintained, wheel bearings go bad, bushings, shocks, gaskets, A/C compressor, alternator, radiator... Most parts start to break when you hit high mileage even if well cared for. That is not even getting into engine compression and transmission.

Regardless, good luck with your sale. I really hope you get your asking price.
