I often find people get offended you dare disagree with them, especially politics where you are only allowed to follow the dogma. How many subs are here on reddit that are centered around that very idea?

I want to know why people actually believe what they do. Are they serious about it or are they just regurgitating what they've been told. A visceral reaction to something like this tends to make me believe it has to be the latter, because how exactly is it conservative to let the government hide information about itself? Instead people want to defend unconditionally anything surrounding the military.
