Senate Candidate Beto O'Rourke: This doesn't add up. Thousands of teachers in communities that desperately need their talents had their $4,000 teaching grants taken away and converted to $5,000 loans. Unacceptable and needs an immediate investigation.

I have a genuine but unpopular question:

On this sub Beto O'Rourke gets mentioned and upvoted every day, sometimes twice or thrice a day. I'm thrilled that he's getting exposure, but does he actually have a chance? For real?

Rothenberg Political Report predicts the election will be "Solid Republican"

Cook Political Report predicts it will be "likely Republican"

Sabato's Crystal Ball predicts it will be "likely Republican"

I have scoured the internet to find a single reputable political analyst who thinks O'Rourke has a chance, and I have not been able to find a single one. In the political pundit world, this is being treated as a slam dunk Cruz victory.

I hope O'Rourke can pull this off, but does this sub know something I don't? Why is everyone fixated on him compared to all the other Democratic candidates across the country fighting uphill battles against Republican incumbents?
