This kiwi Indian descendent says that Kiwis assume her journalist father is a dairy owner on this thread:

Yes. Here in New Zealand. Indians have a stereotype of OWNING dairies which are like little 7/11 stores on the corner of streets.

So every Indian is considered a Dairy owner or a taxi driver or a Indian fruit picker in the country.

My father is a JOURNALIST. But he has had that question a few times. People just assume.
