how about everything that has come out about the Catholic Church over the last 20 years that was going on literally forever?

How about not investing Cyril Smith and his ring/gang properly until long after his death?

With not acting on information and allowing children to be abused for decades how about the Jersey abuse scandal?

So yes, authorities have turned blind eyes and decided to turn a blind eye and each time it's a fucking tragedy that leads to the suffering or death of hundreds.

Interestingly the common connection between all these case are not the perpetrators, its the victims: vulnerable children in care of social services that are usually labelled as troublesome when they speak out about abuse.
