Sent to me by a friend (I’m blocked by her.. shocker) BUT look at all the meds she managed to get from all her different doctors! And her complaining in the hospital when she isn’t given what she wants! Her sweet sweet Benny.

I am so confused by this list. Not a medical professional, but I do have a lot of experience with anxiety meds, and the meds that people take when they can’t take benzodiazepines (addicts).

Trazadone is for sleeping and it’s pretty strong. Hydroxyzine is for sleeping, but very mild and basically Benadryl. It’s like the first thing docs will give before moving on to stronger stuff - or they give it for anxiety for people who can’t take klonopin, and it’s kind of a placebo in that instance. She’s on klonopin- a low does prob for anxiety. Then Benadryl? I mean, does she have allergies? Why hydroxyzine at all?

I have taken all these meds for sleep and anxiety and one time or another - not all together of course, and it looks like the list of things docs give for people who have mild anxiety or sleeping issues - but just one or two of these at a time. And of course they are real meds - but they are kind small potatoes and aren’t very strong? I don’t know if I am saying this right - but this list indicates to me that she is over prescribed nonsense for not real issues that would necessitate being hospitalized. I know this sub is all about OTT and munchies so it fits. I just can’t imagine a doc seeing this list and not asking questions. It’s like 2 or 3 docs prescribed diff things without knowing they other ones existed.
