I'm tired of this bullshit where we have to be treated like children, and constantly have our hands held and take no responsibility for our actions just because we're Native. Yeah, some people have no control over their circumstances, and we should help those people, but that goes for everyone not just Natives. Most of these assholes are raised with no sense of personal responsibility, and no discipline, and when shit goes south they get told it's not their fault cuz of da Napiikoaiksi. There's so many programs to help people better themselves and get a job and get off those reserves, but only a very small number actually stick with it and do better themselves, and I respect those guys.

The way I see it, if you wanted, really really wanted a better life for yourself and your family you would get treatment for your addictions, get counselling for your mental health issues, and get in a training program. Too many are stuck in their Rez ways.

That's not taking anything away from the Natives that are doing good for themselves. The majority of Natives I know are doing good for themselves, but there are just too fucking many of these Rez fuckheads, and it's their kids that ultimately suffer and start this whole bullshit cycle of poverty and addiction all over agin .
