I did not demand special treatment. I asked to have my completion date adjusted to reflect the day I submitted and all my application materials were arrived (August 31st) and not the day I discovered their error (September 11th). The customer service representative agreed that since most applicants with an August 31st completion date have now been verified that my case should be escalated and it was her idea to tag my application as verify ASAP.

This same error on CASPA’s part cost an applicant on this subreddit the chance at a spot at their top program. I was only lucky to have discovered the error because a program reached out to me, so I don’t see why I shouldn’t hold CASPA accountable.
