Serbian and Croatian television reporting the same event in 1991: the text is the same only the countries are reversed

Not just a bit, there is simply no comparison. During WWI Serbia lost about 25% of its entire population! Think about it: one of every two men who was alive in Serbia 1914 was dead by the end of the war. That is simply crazy. Likewise during the Second World War the crimes committed by the Croatofascists against Serbs were on a scale that is not even remotely comparable to any event in the 1990s. Hundreds of thousands of Serbs men, women, and children were brutally killed, enough to completely change the demographics in many parts of former Yugoslavia making Serbs a minority where they had been in the majority before. The events in the 1990s seem so bad largely because they are so recent. But really things got much, much, much, much, much worse during the world wars (and some earlier wars for that matter).
