Action girl does some action. Swooon! Not sure how this will go, but its an interesting start. The preview for next week already has them at a competition.

I was interested in hoppin on the hype train, but then it left me on the ground. The jump into a new school, and dropping interest in the 2 girls featured at first, just made the whole episode feel wasted a bit. Oh hey its Fuuko. The award for most likely to die horribly in some way to advance plot and drama... goes to you!

Oh god, kill me! I can't do it. I'll wait to watch this all in one go and fast foward the weird water fetching quest flashbacks...

ED/OP is trying to sell the deaf dude way too hard. I like the cool factor, but nothing here suggests its going some place great. I really love the art style though, reminds me of Michiken to Hatchin kinda. I'll see how a few more eps play out.
Gatchaman Crowds Insight
I was worried about where Gatchaman would go with a second season. The ideas to be explored pretty well, and it would be difficult to re-hash a lot of what made the first season great. The new alien and the manifestation of Peer Pressure is certainly interesting. Crowds and the fickle nature of humanity on the internet is certainly an interesting topic, and re-hashing from this angle may lead to our characters going in an arc of growth that directly opposes the first seasons. But not in a bad way... Hyped to see how this goes.
Gate
This should go well... I'm hearing a lot about how the Manga is all politics, death, rape, and morals, but this felt a lot more like an slightly more serious Outbreak Company.
Might have to wait for a few more episodes to see where it takes us.
Rokka: Brave of the 6 Flowers
Someone made some nice stitches. The Aztec style is a nice change of pace, MC guy is stupid and entertaining, and they aren't afraid of workin dat camera.
Overall, the series has a pretty good start and I'm gonna keep up with it fo sho.
Symphogear GX
What a great opening bit of action. Absurd but great, and Hibeki doin her thang 'Hey if you could just chill here, while I fling a rocket ship, that'd be cool.' Another big budget purchase on the concert scene, always great to see. DAT YURI OMG, comeon girls lets cool it a bit here.
The new group of evil aren't gear users? Seems like they are AI designed around it, bent on destorying it all. The Second Season certainly stepped up its game, so I'm interested to see what this director can do with a 'fresh' story line. In case anyone wonders how the show plays out, here is an apt description of the first 2 seasons.
Ushino and Tora
Paging /u/lincoln_prime, the 90's came back! The MC and Demon have some great designs that are a throwback to the manga's time. Action looks great even during small interactions. The balance between the extreme heavy metal moments, and slapstick spear kicking, is just great.
The original mangaka picked out the parts of the story to tell, and they are doing it over ~36 episodes. Seems like the perfect fit, to fill the void left by the great Mushibugyo.

Ahh wonderful Wagnaria, how I've missed you! Good ol Yamada is doin her thing, as we begin with a nice POV of our lovely home away from home. Quickly leaping into the deep conversations, it is clear that this is the greatest show ever! Well maybe not, but it sure is adorable right?
