[Serious] to all white people: Are you proud of being white ? Why or why not ?

I'm not proud of being white. I originally assumed it was because I didn't do anything to earn or deserve my whiteness.

Then I realized - I'm proud to be a woman. But I didn't do anything to earn that, either. I think I'm proud of the life I've build in spite of the obstacles I've faced as a woman. I'm proud of breaking stereotypes and succeeding where people told me I'd fail. That is why I'm proud to be a woman.

So I'll revise my original statement. I have nothing that I've accomplished or achieved despite my whiteness. In fact, all that I've earned has been made easier by being white. I'm not proud of having an advantage others don't, so I'm not proud of being white.
