Thank you for your response. Cancer is scary and has already changed our lives. Before I started checking into this I didn't know anything about it. Now I know a little more and I appreciate all responses public and private I'm receiving. I still don't know feasibility but if I could purchase a $500-$1000 microscope and spend the next two years studying 10 hours a day to be able to self diagnose this then yes, I need to do that. I'm sure a high percentage of people that unfortunately find themselves in my situation would do everything they can to prolong the ones they love... If it's in my power I will be looking into it. If I was able to tell myself, hey, this looks like cancer I sure would be calling the doctor.. I really don't care if they think I'm crazy :). If they wouldn't check...
