[Serious]do cotton shirts shrink with wash and why can't we still ask yes or no questions?

Oh my goodness, calm down, let me help you learn how to do laundry. Didn't your parents teach you this? Even though your reply to me is a little rude, I feel sorry for you, so here's what you should know.

If you do not want your tshirts or cotton business shirts to shrink, do not wash them in extremely hot water. It causes cotton fibers to shrink up - any kind of high heat - in the washer or dryer - will contract the cotton fibers and your 100% shirts will shrink. SOMETIMES NOT all at once - sometimes they will just shrink a tiny bit each time you expose them to the high heat, but they will shrink. Wash in warm, dry on Permanent Press.

However, if there is a small percentage of polyester or artificial fibers like rayon, nylon, polyblend, etc. (the percentage should be listed on a tag somewhere on the shirt) that cuts down on the ability for the fibers to shrink, and the shirts will not shrink as much. They also do not wrinkle as much. I can not guarantee you that cheap shirts will shrink no matter what the blend, and that is why I said "sometimes not."

I'm not a laundry expert, I just know how to take care of my clothes. Now, go do your laundry.
