My older cousin was stalked by her ex boyfriend. He'd constantly send her texts and ring her. He would wait outside her work and follow her in supermarkets. One night he showed up to her house whilst she was sleeping and somehow got through the small window opening. He wasn't violent thankfully and he left once she phoned the police. Police didn't do much and this happened three more times with him finding different entries each time. My uncle got fed up on relying on the police and he went and broke the stalkers jaw and ended up in prison for 6 months but this also allowed my cousin to get a restraining order on her stalker. It's been 2 years now and the stalker hasn't made any sort of contact since.
