[Serious] Why don't Americans realize there wouldn't be mass shootings in the USA if gun ownership was illegal?

You're blind to the laws of economics.

Well I only have a masters degree in Economics so surely your expertise on the matter is far higher than mine /s

You can't stop a person from buying a gun. If there's money to be made, a willing supplier will provide that product.

You're wrong. If its illegal than what will happen is that some people will shift to the black market and others won't. So there is less gun ownership. Less gun ownership = Less crime overall.

If they can't stop drugs, cell phones, and weapons from getting into prisons (with dogs, guards, walls, and metal detectors, mind you) how do you think you can stop the importation of guns into a restricted society?

I'm just saying to remove the licenses of gun shops making it illegal to buy and own a gun. Some people will no longer buy guns. Some people will voluntarily hand over their weapons. The ones that won't if caught face a hefty fine and some jail time. That's what I propose.

There are trucks full of illegals being driven into this country every day. If the demand was there, and the price was right, those would be trucks full of firearms.

You're wrong once again.

See? You have no logical answer that would withstand critical examination.

Sure man you're obviously way smarter than everyone else so people can't debate with you at all /s
