[Serious]For those of you who have mental health issues (depression, anxiety, suidical thoughts...etc) and are not in some sort of therapy, why not? Is it just a cost issue? Do you think there's no point?

Issue is I want to talk to somebody else :) I’ve tried group support/therapy on discord for free. Also have taken several somewhat “self guided” lessons and in person classes about wellness for about a year. Discord isn’t bad but not great in terms of efficiency and finding pro therapists. But you can find support and tlc there. The lessons in wellness were good to know but rudimentary when it comes to the complexity of the human race. I’ve dug around the internet long enough to understand my demons but not guidance of how to tame them. I’ve buried a lot of emotions and don’t want to unbox everything all at once to someone. When I do, I want a human to human connection but also a sense of confidentiality w/o the risk of changing peers perspectives. It’s more about confidentiality and who I want to download my life story to. It’s more so than it’s about the general idea of not wanting to share. The last couple years have been a mad trip but I’m okay. I’ll visit a therapist sometime sometime in the future.
