[Serious] formerly mentally unwell Redditors, what was the turning point for you, and what would you pass on to someone in your shoes?

There are key aspects that (almost) every human needs in order to be happy :

- Understanding. You need a person that understands you, because they are similar to you.

- You need someone that makes you feel like you are needed. May it be at work or just a friend or partner.

- You need someone. May it be a friends who listens to your problems or your parents.

- You need hobbies and you (should) become good at something (It doesn't matter what, just something you can be proud of)

- It also helps to achieve general achievements of society (Having sex for the first time (Only if you want of course), working for money the first time etc.)
