[Serious] Hey fellow Redditors, what was the most memorable and crazy experience that you had when you were young?

Spring Break 2010. A longtime friend of mine in HS invited me to his families beach house in Miami for spring break. When we got there his parents dumped us out, gave him a bunch of money, and pretty much told him they would be back for us in a week.

Their beach house was insanely nice. When I say beach house I mean really nice beach house, probably between $3-$5 million dollars. Day 1 was chill, we just shot baskets and went to bed early. Day 2, his older brother meets up with us and figures out that mom/dad are gone (we didn't know but they were actually on a cruise for 5 days). He gets a bunch of people from the University of Miami and other local colleges on the phone and they start planning this big party. We figured it would be like 8-10 people so we didn't bother letting his parents know.

Day 3. Older brother sort of fills us in on what's going on and tells us we gotta prep. We spend the whole morning and afternoon buying soo much shit for this party. It is in excess, and that's when I realized how big this thing was. People started coming over around 8:30 and by 10 the house was basically trashed.

I was 18 at the time so I had been to parties before but this was absolutely insane. Besides the tons of frat bros and sorority chicks there, some notable people did show up. We had a bunch of U football players, including two future NFL pros in Lamar Miller and Allen Hurns. So many beautiful girls there, and supposedly a few of them were semi-important models. Two 18 year old kids couldn't have been any luckier.

I passed out around 3 and woke up in the afternoon. People were still at the house. We shooed the stranglers off and spent the evening in silence before getting an early nights rest. Looking back I'm amazed that 1. We were not arrested. 2. The house was not significantly robbed. 3. We were not robbed. We spent the rest of the break cleaning the house and replacing furniture with the leftover funds but came clean when we realized it would be in vain. His parents didn't seem too upset but mine were PISSED. Lost my car for the rest of the year and had to get a job over the summer to help pay the family back, even though they insisted I didn't need to.
