[Serious] How many out there ended up with a job that makes them want to get up in the morning? What is the job?

Gemologist and jewelry designer/ silversmith here! I instruct jewelry design at my area's Arts Enrichment center. I do Girls Night Out on Fridays where everyone brings a bottle of wine and I show them step by step how to make a piece I previously designed. It's a riot, I look forward to it all week. I also do the Saturday morning class with preteens where we use mostly recycled items for jewelry and have gemology study. Sunday morning is mostly a cluster fuck of little hands in bowls of beads crying about Susie getting the last Elsa pendant or yawning over ( what I think is) a really cool opal mined in Australia. The little ones are the hardest to impress. There are also several events put on by other instructors where I show up and have a little "pop up" where I whip up quick little make-n-take type projects for donations towards our programs. It's mostly musical instructors so a lot of concerts and recitals. We all support each other since the center is only a few years old and still gaining its footing. If I go to little Billy's piano show, his instructor comes to my students' gallery showings with one of his students to provide some smooth tunes. It's awesome. I'm surrounded by brilliant artists and super talented kids. The only drama comes from the occasional "stage mother". I'm in love with my career and I know how exceptionally fortunate I am to have it.

My next project is full on Gemology Summer camp with actual field digs and specimen study!! I already have kits ordered tshirts drawn up:) Shooting for summer 2016 to launch! I am also in the very early stages of opening my own boutique offering hand made jewelry and gem & jewelry appraisal services! Again, so soooooo lucky. I LOVE ALL OF IT.
