I posted this the other day but I was kicked out of my dad's house at 15 when he began to work overseas because I had a step mother who didn't like me much, and when I became a teenager she became "scared" of me and my punk friends. I couldn't live with my mom as we had irreconcilable differences at that point. I couch surfed and slept outside a little untill a school friends parents took me in and then I got an apartment with friends and my dad paid rent. I'm not going to say it was anyone's blame but my own. I was damaged and didn't have the tools to repair myself at that point in my life. Thankfully I woke up to responsibility and made amends with my dad before he passed.
