[Serious] Ladies, what's the creepiest thing a guy has done that was meant to be 'romantic'?

I guess I'll admit something I did that I now realize was pretty creepy in hindsight.

Broke up with my girlfriend the summer after our first year at college (she was insane, and I was the one who broke up with her). But a few weeks later, I was having second thoughts (she was awesome in the sack), and we were still hanging out quite a bit because almost all of our friends were mutual friends, so I tried to rekindle things.

She turned me down, with the excuse that spending time with me was causing her to become less involved with her church (true, but mostly because hanging out with me and having a social life meant she didn't have every weekend free to volunteering to help out with youth group stuff), and also that all of the sex we were having was a sin.

For some insane reason, I thought the way to convince her to continue to bang me would be to write about a dozen little notes with Bible verses that talked about how sex brings two people close to each other and to God. Then I broke into her car (used the ol' coathanger trick) while she was at work and taped the notes to the dashboard, and for good measure I filled her car with like 200 rainbow-colored balloons (I just sat there in the parking lot inflating them with lung power for about an hour).

Somehow, at the time, it didn't seem creepy to me. A month later, it still didn't seem creepy, because she was dating a guy that would eat her hair (like, literally, would pick up the stray pieces of hair that she'd shed and ball them up and eat them). And six months later, it still didn't seem creepy, when she was married to a guy she hadn't yet met at the time we were dating. (I hear they're living in Florida and have two kids now.)
