[Serious] Medics of reddit, what is the weirdest "that's not a real thing" reason a patient has come to see you?

Ug I believe it, happens so much. I had one miss a bone that was busted and pressing into my chest cavity onto the aorta. Another saw the CT scan, said they saw it but it couldn't be right because that would be soooooo rare. Meanwhile it is right there in black and white.....ugly surgeries later.....grrr. And lawyers here won't help if you aren't dead or drooling. Reported it to the state...reprimand issued to the hospital a few years later when they got around to it. Can't imagine how many people endured the same crap in that time. There is far less in place to protect patients than there should be. Example, you often cannot sue for a preventable horrid hospital acquired infection. Enjoy the Debridement and picc line and sepsis,.
