[Serious] Muslim Men can marry up to four, what's your honest opinion about this?

I agree, but I do wonder how the state would deal with it. My solution to the paperwork and rights and money is to deal with it like you would a business, getting it all agreed on by the participants, and put into a contract.

Marriage law is established... you can have prenuptuals, but many states don't really even acknowledge them. So would the state just abandon the laws it established regarding how marriages are supposed to work, and just use whatever custom contracts the wedded draw up? In this case, it would get expensive to be married- there would need to be an attorney working with the groups, most likely, before a wedding could happen.

I don't see the state necessarily coming up with more laws to satisfy all the different ways polygamy can work, especially with polyamory.

Case in point- I'm married to my wife, and dating a woman who is married to her husband. We want to get married. That marriage won't include either of my wives' husbands. If either my current wife of my girlfriend's husband want to marry someone else, or each other, what then? Or what about the case of a triad or fully connected quad? There may be more than one head of household, etc.

I'm all about letting people figure that out for themselves and just letting the states establish a couple rules that keep people protected from abuse.
