My friend and I walked to the grocery store at 2:00 AM to buy pizza bagels and she lived really close. We didn't want to walk back so we sat in front of the store trying to find a taxi open that late. Four guys walk up and go inside the store and come back outside, running with their arms full of stolen beer and wine and disappear into the night.

Friend and I give up on trying to find a taxi and start walking back. We walked past the four dudes from earlier and they asked us to hang with them. I said no but friend said yes so we stayed. Hung out for a while then tried to leave but they asked to hang out at her house. We both said no but they started walking with us anyways, one dude so fucked up he passed out in a shopping cart they pushed. We ditched them at a park near her house, got back, ate our pizza bagels, went to sleep.

The next morning, her mom woke us up to tell us that four guys were arrested at the park near her house that night for running a girl over with a car over drug money a few days ago. Same guys as the ones we were hanging out with.
