[SERIOUS] People who still don’t take the current global pandemic seriously, despite evidence to the contrary, why, and what is it that you aren’t understanding?

My job requires me to be physically present when I'm doing my work. I can't go into specifics other than I have to travel to various environments (courts not so much now, city limited), but I have somewhat decent health insurance. That being said, I have epilepsy and have the ability to drive. I work independently and calls are frequent. If I were to stop working, I can't pay for my medication which in turn prevents me from driving. Right now, I'm between working until I contract the virus or quit answering my work phone and both lead to being driven out of my apartment plus the lack of medication. To be homeless and unmedicated is a situation I don't want to be in again but I have no other choice but to keep exposing myself the outside world.
