A serious question.

Nah - I really don't think so.

Maybe I should add another thing to the explanation. Sentients ARE in fact highly vulnerable against the 'Void' itself. They were made so on purpose by the Orokin. But the powers we're using channeled through our Warframes are not 'Void' by nature - they are just channeld Void energy into something 'man-made'.

You can see this when actually fighting Sentients in the game. While the Eidolon's shield can only be stripped by our Opperators 'Void Attacks' (channeld specially through our Amps) the other Sentient variants have the capability to adapt to conventional damage types - but their resistances can be stripped by our Opperators attacks as well.

What leads us to the point where we have to face the fact, that our Frames powers AREN'T in fact 'Void powers' - they are artificial - like conventional weaponry. BUT even the in-game story suggests that the Opperators ability of using the Transference is something that is only discovered recently - so in the old war, they most likely couldn't make use of this.
