Serious Question. Can anyone actually explain why school administrators make more money than classroom teachers?

I can support the high salary of some of the admins we have in our district. They do work more hours than I do in a single day (at least in my district) as they are often at all sporting events at home, meetings after school for I E Ps, meetings with other admin, and school board. Then in the summer, they work everyday except two weeks for vacation.

But then there are other admin that I struggle with. Like others have said, these admin work the same hours a typical teacher works. They have an office they rarely leave. They seem to lounge in hallways if they are around. They often have jobs that others can do for less but instead of getting cut, teachers and paras get cut.
