A Serious Question for Trans Players

I obviously have no idea what this is like since I'm a straight male, but why does sexuality have anything to do with the game? I understand how it can be nerve-wracking thinking about "coming out" to a group of friends or people in an FC, but if people don't ask, then why bother bringing it up?

If I became friends with someone in the FC, the last thing I would think about is their sexuality.

You good at the game? Check.

You nice to your teammates? Check.

You willing to strategize and work on mechanics for fights? Check.

But, that's just me. I know how mean or rude other players can be though. It is scary thinking about joining a group of players, just for them to get on an anti-LGBT topic at some point, which leaves you sitting there feeling awkward.

All I can say is, if you are around people who are mean like that, just get away. Other than that, I don't see any reason to bring sexuality up unless someone explicitly asks, and if they have a problem with it, fuck them. You do you and let them live hateful lives if they want.

As far as you being concerned about your voice...try not to let it bother you so much. You seem worried that your voice doesn't match up with your character, but most people really don't.

25 yr old dude. Deep voice. I play a female lalafell and main BLM.

I hope you can gain some confidence moving forward :)
