[Serious]Why is reddit so vigilant in censoring legitimate content creators while so lenient in allowing copyright theft, misogyny, and harassment? Isn't this a rather perverse implementation of free speech?

Copyright is not tricky. It is flat-out unethical to steal the work of artists. Legally, reddit is run out of the USA, and reddit is a for-profit corporation. There's nothing to quibble about, which is why reddit takes down the Fappening and other abuses. It's just that small time artists are not rich enough to hire lawyers.

What is an individual view about being "sold to"? It is not illegal. That's a fact. It is not indecent, as covered by indecency laws. That's a fact. The only subjective statement is that it is not unethical. Come on - you're going to mince words about copyright theft as jurisdiction and then say selling is unethical? The entire business world runs on selling. Google, Facebook, AND reddit generate revenue by... SELLING ads. SELLING.
