[Serious] Redditors who have found a dead body, what happened and what did you do?

On the topic of murder-suicide...

I worked as a contractor for a large, Fortune 500 company for a couple years. A week after I started, another guy started (“Rick”, for this story). Rick and I both smoked cigarettes and we were both new, so we bonded quickly and frequently went out on smoke breaks together. Seemed like a totally normal dude. I had my conceal carry permit and he was a concealed carry instructor, so we talked a lot about gun laws and gun ownership.

Rick finished the project that the Fortune 500 company needed and got re-assigned. I never heard from him again.

About 6 months to a year later, we found an article about Rick. Apparently, he and his fiancé got into a fight. He snapped, got his handgun and went after his 1 year old daughter. His fiancé stopped his advances (unarmed) so he shot her, and she ultimately died. I guess reality set in after that, so he shot himself in the head right after.

It’s insane to think about, that the guy seemed totally normal. Yet can go insane that quickly, under the right amount of pressure.
