[SERIOUS] Redditors with autism, what's it like to have autism? What are your everyday troubles, quirks or challenges?

Pretty high-functioning autistic high schooler here: -I stim too much. I twist my fingers all the time and I used to touch my lips until some skin came off. I'd like to stim with a pen since it's safer but the sound of the pen falling and the ink falling on my skin makes me very uneasy. -I feel guilty when we study patterns or sequences in Math, since I can solve the problems faster than others. Intrestingly, though, my favorite subject is English, which is pretty rare with other autistic people. -I've gotten better with social interaction, but if I haven't regularly seen and/or spoke with a person for a few months or so talking to them feels really weird. -Whenever talking to neurotypical people I always worry if I sound weird. -I sometimes run around my school quadrangle and flap my hands, which makes my mom really embarassed. I can't help it, gets rid of stress. -My special interests are Pokemon and church history, I always research about them on a day to day basis. Even if I stopped liking video games or became irreligous I would still read the heck out of those two things. I also have special interests when it comes to reading and telling stories but I'm not that good at non-fiction writing for obvious reasons. -Favorite things to sense are cooked fish, pillow sheets, the screen of my 3DS, and well-played guitar. -Least favorite things to sense is anything to do with drums, other people's touch, really bright lights, people shouting and eating a bananna. -I still have a fist grip.
