[Serious] Were you ever close to being killed/raped/kidnapped/robbed? If so, how did you avoid it/get away?

Had a few close calls when I was younger. These are just a couple that come to mind.

In third grade a kid brought a gun to school and pointed it at me on the bus. He said if I told anyone he'd shoot me. Naturally, his dumb ass left his bag unattended to go to the bathroom when we got to school so I went and got a teacher. She then told me to shut up because she wasn't talking to me... I think I hold more of a grudge against her than the kid with the gun. Eventually she actually dealt with the situation though.

Another time, I was about 16 and at a friend's house. One of their dad's friends showed up (looking for the dad) and came back to the garage where we were hanging out. He was clearly fucked up on something (meth if I had to guess based on his speech patterns), and he started getting really agitated with us for no apparent reason. Anyway, he started talking about having a gun on him, and he eventually pulled it out and started waving it around. At this point, we started trying to calm him down and at least get him the hell away from us. After a few minutes he just left. It was really quite a strange experience.

Yet another time, I was sitting on my porch (lived in a shitty neighborhood in college), and a drive-by shooting happened down the street. This wasn't the first shooting within a block of my house. I think 4 people were killed in just the time I lived there for school.

The final one that comes to mind is when my alcoholic dad almost drove the entire family off a bridge when he drove us home blackout drunk on new year's. I don't remember a whole lot since I was probably no older than 12, but I do remember yelling to wake him up.
