[Serious] what are the biggest problems within our society?

People are having their careers threatened

No, they really aren't. Brandon Eich stated opinions that about half the country agrees with (or did at the time). His right to publicly state those opinions isn't being threatened. Hell, his right to state them as a Mozilla employee isn't being threatened. What happened was that lots of people saw that he donated his money to a cause to take away civil rights of gay people and responded that they would not use a product if he was going to make money off of it, because they don't like the idea of people donating money to prevent equal rights.

If someone who is the face of a brand and donates to a certain political cause that I don't like, or a company does that, then it's more than reasonable to not help that person make money and to call others to do the same. That's free speech in action. Brandon Eich isn't getting censored or oppressed, and he wasn't forced to resign or any bullshit like that. He resigned out of his own volition because he realized that him being the face of Mozilla was hurting the brand. There was no injustice. Personally, I didn't boycott Firefox, since there was no alternative browser that was acceptable to me at the time, but I can understand and support those who did.

Here's an extreme example. Let's say that a CEO of some brand you like was using their profits to fund people shooting puppies in the face. That would be pretty messed up, and it would be more than reasonable to call for a mass boycott of that brand so that people's dollars don't go to puppy shooting. If it were a brand that I liked, I'd stop giving them money if I didn't have to, because I wouldn't want my money going to that. That's free speech. That's the free market. That's what happens when you allow people to make their own free decisions, and it's a good thing.
