About a year and a half ago, I had a dream where I was standing inside my grandfather’s house. My grandmother was already deceased at this point, but my grandfather was still alive when this dream took place. In my dream, my dad was in my grandfather’s bed, but it was as if he was in the hospital. He was intubated and everything and did not look well at all. There was a knock at the door and I answered it. When I answered the door, there was a man standing there. He looked like a normal guy. No bad or good quality or anything that stood out at all in reference to his appearance. When I looked at this man standing before me, I immediately recognized him as death personified. He looked at me and just said “it’s time” and I asked if I could at least say goodbye first. He said “yes”, but when he said “yes.” He looked very sad for me. A few months later my dad passed away. I was able to say goodbye first, but he was in a comma so I’m not sure how much of that goodbye he actually heard, if at all. I think about this dream a lot and some other weird dreams I have had that ended up relating to my future in some way. I always wonder if they are just coincidences, but always freaky regardless.
