Late one night while driving with my cousin in his Crown Victoria which is a damn fast car, police drive them a lot, we were just heading down a quiet road surrounded by open fields which is pretty creepy to begin with but I knew my cousin's car was fast so we could get away from danger easily. As I we sat in silence looking out at the passing fields, his radio turned on by itself which made us both jump. There was no static or a creepy warning like in the movies, it was just turned on to a normal radio station. My cousin turns it off and the radio turns on again a moment later. He turns it off and as we cone over this big hill, we see car headlights coming down another hill in the distance. It's a narrow road and we haven't seen any cars passing us or behind us, so being a nice driver my cousin decides to pull over at the bottom of the hill but as we just start to descend this hill, we realize this guy must be flying at like 90 miles per hour so my cousin decides to reverse the big car out, off the big hill and to the side of the road. The other car which was speeding quite fast doesn't come over the top of the hill. My cousin mutters to himself "I don't fuckin' believe this..." and we wait a minute longer and the car doesn't come over the hill and we decide that that he must have wrecked like it hit a ditch and flipped the car but it was a quiet night and with my cousin's window down, we didn't hear a crash. So my cousin puts it in drive and we begin to drive down the hill and we don't see anything like a wrecked vehicle and at the bottom of the hill, both of us get out and take a look around on both sides of the road and there are no tire tracks in the mud and we hadn't heard tires squealing to a stop so we think the guy must have slowly put on the brakes and before he got to the top of the hill to where we could see it, they reversed and got the fuck out of there so we get back in the car and drive away. We see no cars behind us or in front of us, to the side or anything, this car we had just seen is gone. So as we're talking to each other about where the car may be, we notice that a car was following us. But it was a distance away and flying at us like the car before so my cousin guns it and both us and the car behind are flying down this quiet road, the guy behind turns off his headlights (can still make out the outline of the car in the darkness) and my cousin says out loud "Fuck it." and he pulls the car over and the asshole riding our bumper is gone. The car following us vanished, they didn't shoot past or pull in behind us and if they pulled off into a field beside us, we would have seen them. If they had taken a sharp turn into the fields, they would have rolled. We just left that road, didn't say a word, didn't see the car again. Freaky shit! Don't remember exact road.
