[Serious] What do you think of mods who lie about the reasons for banning you?

This comment got me banned from /r/news for "racism"...

He was already in trouble for trying to kill the mother.

Mothers aren't a race

He was scared of them because he thought they were Muslim.

Muslim is not a race

He threatened them before because he thought they were Muslim.

Muslim is not a race

He had been calling them racial slurs since he moved in.

Bzzzzt ... "mostly because of their Lebanese heritage" .. Lebonese is not a race

So... "not racism" is what you're saying, right? Care to try again.. maybe with some actual examples of racism? Thanks.

Regardless of what you might think of me, is what I said racist? If not... why would I be banned from /r/news for "racism"? (big surprise the mods didn't reply to my response asking them the same question)

[Thread in question ...and yes, I think the guy who killed his neighbor is a piece of shit, but there is no evidence that his motivation was "racism".. Lebanese isn't a race.. and the victims in this particular case wouldn't be described as anything other than white. So...wtf?]

Is it time for a "reddit court"? Mods have far too much power and don't answer to anyone. I think it's time for that to change.
